As a Hamilton fan this is what I saw. Verstappen had blue/green lights 2 turns before the last turn before the straight. On the last turn before the straight you can clearly see that the indicator on the right is off, not showing any color whatsoever. This is likely when they switched from green to red. He had no further indicators until he passes Stroll. As he approaches Stroll on the far right they are on a rise with a slow bend to the left. The warning lights are not visible at this point until you top the rise and advance around the bend. By the time Verstappen could possibly have seen the red flag light he was well past Stroll. So as far as track lighting is concerned, Verstappen did no wrong. Interior lighting likely wouldn't have come on much earlier than that. He wouldn't have had a chance to brake to avoid passing Stroll. And as it was a rising and descending high speed bend, braking in that spot would likely have broke traction on the rear and caused a spin to the inside, resulting in a dangerous crash given Verstappen's positioning, as anyone who has raced before would know. I don't even see why the stewards are calling him in unless a team called the incident in as they all do to each other to take advantage in the next race. If this had happened during the race it would certainly have been investigated right away. It would be interesting to see what the stewards would have done in that particular race even if the indicator did pop on visibly in Max's cockpit. There was so little time. You're just not watching instruments during an area of a track with three turns, passing slower traffic. In my opinion it would be ridiculous to penalize him for that incident.
